The Blizzard of '96

Day 1: Saturday

The storm officially began Saturday at 9:10 p.m.

The next morning found D.C. hidden in a deepening curtain of snow.

We were all pretty wide-eyed.



 		 

THE STORM - Looking west from the roof garden into the face of the storm. Traffic had long since ceased. A visitor waited vainly for a taxi.
