The 2nd annual OktoberFestival will take place outside the north exit of The Lauren Condominium
on Sunderland Place. The Street Fair is sponsored by our neighbors, the
Historical Society of Washington, D.C., in the Heurich
House next door.
Included will be singing and
dancing with the Bavarians Three and the Alpine Dancers,
German food, handmade crafts and arts, and the "Biergarten"
featuring Foggy Bottom Beer from The Olde Heurich Brewery.
Other entertainment will
include activities for children, a book sale sponsored by
the Research Library and free tours of the Heurich House
Museum.
