Lauren, A Condominium LOBBY Renovation Phase IICommences Monday July 6, 1998 Phase II is scheduled to last between July 6, 1998 - July 11, 1998. Phase II will involve primarily the installation of marble flooring on the lobby floor in the vicinity of the elevator and steps. *** IMPORTANT *** On Monday and Tuesday (July 6th and 7th) the entry/exit process of the Lauren will be altered. The main entrance on 20th Street will be open to access the front desk for picking up of mail and packages. However, you will not be able to go up the steps to the elevator. You will be asked to enter and exit the body of the Lauren via the N Street entrance. Desk personnel will be on duty in the stairwell to direct traffic to the elevators through the garage level. The elevators themselves will not stop in the lobby (1st floor). It is currently anticipated that first floor will reopen sometime on Wednesday July 8th. It is possible; however, that some portions of the area will remain closed for an additional period of time. Phase I has proceeded according to schedule. It is still anticipated that this project will be completed in mid August. As each new phase commences notice will be promulgated to all residents informing them of any foreseen impact upon daily operations of the association. Thank you for your Patience and Understanding!
