Re: Hallway/Lobby/Elevator Renovations-

For the moment the renovation project has come to a halt. All aspects of the job that can be completed have been.

The contractor is waiting on:

1) Delivery of remaining hallway lights

2) Delivery of carpet

In addition the Decorating Committee and Board of Directors have to make several decisions including:

1) Type of paint for the elevator exterior. This cannot be decided until the existing paint layers are removed on a sample door and a new coat of paint is applied. To further complicate matters the subcontractor in charge of this portion is out with the flu and is not expected back until next week. The general contractor has not been able to secure a qualified replacement.

2) Materials and colors for the interior of the elevators. The committee will be meeting with the designer this upcoming Friday and will hopefully resolve this portion of the matter.
