We've
had a great run of concerts this summer with Sounds
in the Square, and we now have just one show left for tonight,
Thursday July 30th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Farragut Square Park.
The band playing tonight is Rebelicious,
a country-meets-classic rock band that has opened for big national acts
like Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, and Taylor Swift to name a few.
Originally scheduled to kick off our concert series but was rained out,
we are excited Rebelicious
could reschedule to play today, which is our rain date.
We'll be giving away a couple of prizes
to people in the crowd at 7:30 p.m. -- this week it is $50 from Elephant
& Castle Pub and Restaurant at 900 19th Street NW, and also a free
month membership + free hour massage at Results Gym at 1101 Connecticut
Avenue NW.
This is your last chance to hang out at a
Sounds
in the Square show this year, so spread the word and grab some
friends or coworkers and enjoy the free entertainment!
Also, you can sign up to win a VIP Sounds in the Square Picnic
package to make the concerts even more enjoyable. The picnic spread for
up to ten people includes soft drinks, cookies, picnic blankets,
coolers, and VIP tickets to the DC Improv Comedy Club as part of a
signature Sounds in the Square experience.
Make a night of it. Visit www.gtbid.com for details on
discounts during or after each concert at participating restaurants,
shops and night spots in the Golden Triangle.
