There
are only three concerts left this summer in the Golden Triangle's
popular Sounds
in the Square concert series! We've had so much happen in the park
during this year's concerts, to include salsa dancing, a marriage
proposal, weekly giveaways, on-site radio personalities and so much
more, we hope you can join us for our upcoming free shows as each is
sure to be full of fun and surprises.
This Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Farragut Square Park,
the multi-talented and adventurous cover band Road
Soda will be playing everything from Prince and Coldplay to The
Beatles and Bell Biv DeVoe, so bring a blanket and some friends and join
in on the fun. MIX
107.3 FM's DJ Tommy McFly will be there to kick off the concert, and
we'll give away prizes at the end of the show to two lucky concertgoers.
Also, each week you can sign up to win a VIP Sounds in the Square Picnic
package to make the concerts even more enjoyable. The picnic spread for
up to ten people includes soft drinks, cookies, picnic blankets,
coolers, and VIP tickets to the DC Improv Comedy Club as part of a
signature Sounds in the Square experience.
Make a night of it. Visit www.gtbid.com for details on
discounts during or after each concert at participating restaurants,
shops and night spots in the Golden Triangle.
