At our April meeting we agreed to accept nominations from the floor for board members at this month's membership meeting (tonight). Below you will find the report from the nominating committee.

Report of the 2007 Nominating Committee

Your 2007 Nominating Committee respectfully recommends the following persons for election to DCCA Officer and Director positions for 2007-2008:

Officers for One Year Terms

• President: Rob Halligan
• First Vice President: John Hockensmith
• Second Vice President: Susan Dunn
• Secretary: Judith Neibrief
• Treasurer: Nancy Hartsock

Members of the Board of Directors

One Board Member for Two Year Term expiring in 2009:

• Norm Ristin

Two Board Members for Three Year Terms expiring in 20l0:

• Barbara Friday
• Joel Lawson

Note: Three members of the current Board automatically carry over since they occupy positions that do not expire this year:

• Alex Camacho
• Don Marion
• Anne Scanley

We believe the officers and board members we are nominating will effectively serve and represent DCCA, and we recommend membership approval. We note, however, that our decision on whom to recommend was not easy due to the large number of qualified and talented persons among DCCA's membership, many of whom we hope will serve in DCCA leadership positions in the future.
