Water Turn-Off Date Has Been Confirmed!

As mentioned in a memo posted April 2, 2007 Oasis Mechanical will be replacing a number of domestic water valves throughout the building. In order for this to be accomplished it will be necessary to turn off ALL water to the building. Water currently in the pipes will have to be drained.

The first of these water-shut offs will allow us to replace the main water valves bringing in water from the street. These valves are located in a room off the laundry room. At the same time we will replace those valves servicing residential units that do not have to be relocated to the main hallway. All of these valves are located in the ceiling above the hallway on the 10th floor.

Water will be turned off for the entire building on:

Tuesday May 1, 2007 9:00AM-5:00PM

Important things for you to know:

1. Please make sure all hot and cold water valves are turned OFF in both your bathroom(s) and kitchen. 2. After the pipes are refilled and you run your faucet you may experience some air and/or sediment. This is perfectly normal. Please turn your faucets back on slowly. 3. If work is completed prior to 5:00 water will be turned back on sooner. The front desk will be kept apprised of progress.
