Board member Elizabeth VanderPutten reports the noisy work on N Street adjacent to The Lauren this morning is PEPCO* following up on their recent work. 

On February 8, a transformer under the street malfunctioned and left the Lauren in the dark for 16 hours.

PEPCO worked throughout the night to replace the equipment and wiring. When the work crew left, the supervisor said they would be back two or three times to ensure everything is working properly.

At 8:00 AM today, they returned and have been conducting tests and inspecting wiring.
