The Lauren Condominium has procedures in place so as to assure both a relatively smooth move for you, and continued quality of life for other residents. Please review these, & then abide by them.
GENERAL
1. You must sign and return to the desk BELOW acknowledgement of receiving this form.
2. If you are going to be moving you must schedule your move with the front desk, as the desk maintains the moving calendar. Desk phone is 202.659.9483.
3. Moving hours are 9:00AM to 3:00PM Monday through Saturday. If there is only one move scheduled for the day it will be given the entire time slot. If two moves are scheduled the day will be divided between morning (9:OOAM-12:00 Noon) and afternoon (12:00 Noon-3:OOPM).
4. If a move extends past 3:00PM you will be charged $30.00 per hour incurred.
5. All moves are through the N Street door and are staged on the ground level.
6. All building doors (interior & exterior) must be kept closed and locked when you are not actually loading and/or unloading.
7. Please advise front desk when your move starts and finishes.
MOVE-INS
1. Prior to moving in you must have submitted all required paperwork to the association.
A. New tenants (through the owner of the unit) have to provide a copy of lease, condominium addendum, appropriate move-in fee, and data base.
B. New owners must provide a copy of the HUD-1 settlement sheets that was prepared at the settlement table and the appropriate move-in fee.
2. After you have unpacked empty boxes should be broken down and taken to the ground level elevator lobby. They should be placed in the corner so as to not obstruct pedestrian traffic.
MOVE-OUTS
1. You must take all bulk items such as unwanted rugs and furniture with you. You may NOT leave such items in The Lauren. If the association has to dispose of any bulk items from your apartment you will be charged a minimum of $65.00 to cover our trash haulers costs.
