As approved by the association’s Board of Directors Comcast Cable will be upgrading their system in the Lauren .

This is scheduled to take place Monday, Tuesday, and (if necessary) Wednesday February 2-5, 2004.

Almost the entirety of the work to be performed will take place in the stairwells, where Comcast has their control panels, or the garage where the system enters the building. It is not anticipated that any tasks will be undertaken in either hallways or residential units.

As noted in the communication of January 30, 2004 it is possible that there may be some noise in the stairwell. There will be limited periods of drilling, generally for the purpose of enlarging the hole in the concrete slab that the cable conduit is contained in. The remainder of the drilling is scheduled to take place on Tuesday February 3, 2004 from 9:00AM until completion (approximately three (3) hours).

The contractor will have equipment on some landings. Therefore, please exercise caution when entering and using the stairwell.

If you are a current Comcast subscriber please be aware that there will be periods of service interruption while the components are being changed. Comcast aims to keep these to a minimum.
