ROOF UPDATE

In our last official memo dated May 24, 2002 we noted that the railing had arrived at the contractor’s shop and, after a final scan for hidden elements, should start to be installed May 30th. Regretfully the railing was shipped with an improper finish and had to be returned to the manufacturer. The problem was corrected and the railing has now been received back at the Lauren.

Installation of the railing commenced Monday June 17th.

The pool has been painted and is expected to be filled at the end of this week. Furniture is tentatively set for delivery also at the end of this week. 

Based upon our general contractor’s current schedule we are now estimating (and more than fairly confident) that the roof and pool will be usable by Saturday June 29th.

Items such as planters, plantings, woodwork as well as punchlist items for the roof replacement will installed/performed as expediently as possible though most likely will continue throughout the summer. 

Again, our thanks for your patience and understanding. We think the end result will be worth the wait!
