Starpower

For approximately the next month workmen from Stansbury/Decker will be installing the infrastructure required for Starpower (cable television, high speed internet, long distance and local phone) service. They will be working in several areas of the building including: all hallways, trash chutes, garage, and electrical room on the garage level. The work day has been initially set at 9:00AM-5:00PM on weekdays.

The primary impact on residents will be as old hallway molding is removed and then new molding and additional wiring is installed. Approximately two (2) floors will be renovated at any given time. When a floor is being worked on there will be numerous materials (molding as well as ladders and the like) in the vicinity. Please exercise caution when walking in any such area. A small air compressor will be occasionally running, and air powered staple guns will be employed to attach the molding to  the wall. There will also be some drilling taking place within the trash chute area on each floor.

As necessary, a notice will be sent out to all residents so as to keep all informed of any foreseen impact upon daily normal operations of the association, as well as procedures that will have to be followed by those interested in subscribing to any Starpower services.
