Starpower is scheduled to begin the installation process for their product (cable television, high speed internet access, telephone service) on 

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 5th 

The project will have several stages, and as the schedule for each is finalized a notice will be promulgated to all about the impact it will have upon daily life at The Lauren.

The first stage will be centered in the electric room and garage area. It is possible that several parking spaces (those between the bike room and up to and just beyond the trash chute) may have to be vacated for a day or two to allow conduit to be installed. As of now this will NOT be required on the 5th.

The second stage requires that all trash rooms be X-rayed to determine what, if any, impediments (cables, wires, etc.) will be encountered when holes are drilled to run conduit to each floor. This X-raying will take place 

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 7th

It is scheduled to start around 10:00AM on the tenth floor and then work down to the first floor by early afternoon. During the time a specific floor is being tested units in the nearby vicinity MUST BE VACATED. This applies to both residents and pets. We 
have tentatively identified the affected units to be those in the 01-05-06-07-15-16-17 tiers. In addition, no foot traffic will be allowed. We will confirm whether or not the elevators will be allowed to pass by floors being x-rayed. Please be aware that Lauren personnel (Cacho or myself) will have to enter all influenced units to confirm that they are vacant. We have attached a message from Starpower about this process.
