RE: Water Outage

Please be advised that domestic hot water will be turned off in the entire building:

TONIGHT

(Friday, April 28, 2000)

in order to effect a plumbing repair. 

Outage will occur approximately 11:00PM, and should last until approximately 7:00AM on Saturday morning.

A leak in one of the lines from the hot water heater to the hot water storage tanks (located in the top floor mechanical room) is being fixed. At the same time certain cut-off valves will be replaced and/or added. This second component will allow for the isolation of parts of the system, without having to shut down the entire loop, if and when future repairs need to be undertaken.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding.

Please note the following comprehensive listing of abrogation of service:

1. There will be NO HOT WATER in bathrooms and kitchens (sinks and tubs).

2. There will be cold water in bathrooms and kitchens.

3. Closed loop system is still functional so there will be heat.
