Laundry Room Renovation

Commences: Monday April 10, 2000

The entire project is scheduled to last between April 10-April 14. During this time the laundry room will be out of service, closed and generally off limits. During limited, brief periods the ground floor will also be cordoned off. Signs will clearly provide directions to pedestrians to enter and leave the garage via the north (Sunderland Place) steps.

The following work will occur:

Machines- Old washers and dryers will be removed. New MAYTAG equipment will be installed.

Exhaust- Old ductwork and fans will be removed. New, more effective system will be installed.

Electrical Work- That which is necessary for the new placement of the dryers as well as the wiring necessary for the updated (credit card as well as coin operation of the machines).

Flooring- Remove old tile and replace with new in the laundry room and elevator lobby.

Painting- Of the laundry room and elevator lobby area.

As work progresses more information will be distributed as to the operation of the new equipment. As always your patience and understanding is appreciated.

REMEMBER: LAUNDRY ROOM WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY APRIL 10th THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING APRIL 14th.
