| TO: All Lauren Residents FROM: Walter Krolman, Property Manager RE: Furniture and Rug Sale DATE: January 20, 2000 Hear Yea...Hear Yea! By order of The Lauren Board of Directors the furniture and rug that previously adorned the lobby will sold at auction. The "sealed bid" method will be utilized for those interested in bidding on the merchandise, which will be presented in the form of two distinct packages. All articles will be sold "as is" with no guarantees as to shape or condition. If you are interested in viewing the wares please contact either Cacho or myself for a private showing. Item Number 1 is the furniture consisting of four items (sofa, chair, and two benches). All are brown and "leather"/vinyl covered. The furniture will be sold as a set. Item Number 2 is an approximately 9' x 12' red rug in a classical pattern. The deadline for bids is February 1, 2000. Bids should be submitted on the form attached below, and returned to the Property Manager via the front desk. The Board reserves the right to establish a minimum price that will be accepted. In case of a tie bid for either package a drawing will be held. Winners will be notified and asked to submit payment in the form of a check payable to The Lauren with one (1) week.
