DC2NY adds Dupont Circle to Delaware beach stops
Starting Memorial Day weekend, it will offer bus service from D.C. to both Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach, Del., on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The fare is $39 for one-way travel or $70 roundtrip. “We know others have tried a bus serving Rehoboth only and had limited success,” said DC2NY Chief Executive Richard Green. “However, we know that our friends and many of our Dupont Circle customers want to go to both beach communities.” Three-year-old DC2NY has carved out a niche not only with its cut-rate bus fares to New York, but with amenities like Wi-Fi and bottled water on its buses. |
