On Thursday, February 5 at 12:30pm, editor Marita Golden will be discussing and signing the book It's All Love: Black Writers on Soul Mates, Family, and Friends in which black writers celebrate the complexity, power, danger, and glory of love in all its many forms: romantic, familial, communal, and sacred.

On Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30pm, Ira Glass will discuss the popular Chicago Public Radio show, "This American Life" and the new second season DVD release.

On Tuesday, February 17 at 6:30pm, renowned astronomer Alan Boss will discuss and sign copies of his new book The Crowded Universe: the Search for Living Planets. In his book, Boss argues that based on what we already know about planetary systems, in the coming years we will find abundant Earths, including many that are indisputably alive. Life is not only possible elsewhere in the universe, he argues—it is common.
