A Special Message from our House Tour 2008 Chair, Patty Friedman Marcus...

Join us for a 2008 Dupont Circle House Tour Volunteer Planning Meeting on

WEDNESDAY, JULY 16TH at 6:30pm
at the
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT HOUSE, 1825 R STREET, NW
(between 18th & 19th Streets, north side of the street)

THE HOUSE TOUR NEEDS YOU!  Have fun as a volunteer for the 2008 Dupont Circle House Tour.  The wheels are in motion and we have many tasks to do now.  We also need firm commitments for house monitors on the day of Tour in one of our fabulous houses on October 19th.  Remember, you don't have to live in Dupont, just be committed to our lively vibrant community.

DO YOU have a wonderful house you'd like to be considered in the selection process for the Tour or know of a friend's house in the area that is unique, innovatively green, high-tech, glamorous or feng shui'd?

Do you enjoy: Planning Events, Writing, Contacting the Media, Attending to Details, Working with Local Businesses, Updating Data, Facilitating Ticket Sales, Offering Your Talents and Skills to Benefit the Community?   WE WANT YOU NOW!

CURRENT COMMITTEE CHAIRS AND VOLUNTEERS: Bring your updates on what you've done to date, an agenda of ongoing tasks and timeline for your committee, and needs for additional volunteers.

Come to Wednesday's meeting or contact me directly if you're not able to attend.

Thank you and see you Wednesday!

About DCCA

The Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) was founded in 1922 to promote and protect the interests of the residents of the neighborhood. We still do that. Our area is a lively mix of homes, embassies, restaurants, shops, and galleries —and one of the city's most architecturally significant neighborhoods. These qualities are no accident. The unparalleled quality of living the neighborhood provides is the result of countless volunteer activities carried out by generations of Dupont Circle Citizens Association members. DCCA is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting interests of the residents of our neighborhoods.
