17th Annual Help the Homeless Walkathon

Dear Charlie's Place supporters, contributors, volunteers, and friends:

As the 17th annual Help the Homeless Walkathon is rapidly approaching, I just wanted to take a moment to invite people to get involved and help support Charlie's Place. Join Charlie's Place in the fight against homelessness by participating in the Walkathon on Saturday, November 20, 2004. The registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for youth (age 25 or younger). We encourage you to register online prior to the pre-registration deadline, Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at www.helpthehomelessdc.org (please remember to designate Charlie's Place on your registration form).

Charlie's Place is attempting to recruit as many people as we can in this effort, even if you are not able to walk in the Walkathon if you register you will be counted. Fannie Mae provides monetary incentives to increased numbers of registered walkers. For example if we are able to recruit 100 walkers Charlie's Place will receive a $2,000 incentive from Fannie Mae, if we recruit 1000 registered walkers Charlie's Place will receive a $20,000 incentive from Fannie Mae.
