Dear Lauren Condominium Unit Owner

The 23rd annual meeting of the Lauren Condominium Association will be held or Thursday, May 9, 2002 at 700 P.M. at the American Chemical Society, 1155 16th St., NW, Washington, D.C. (or the southeast corner of the intersection of M and 16th Streets).

As you are aware, without a quorum the meeting will have to be rescheduled, causing additional expense to the Association.

The main purpose of the annual meeting is to elect a Board of Directors. The election of a Board is critical and shapes the direction of the building. Owners of units that are owner occupied units are eligible to serve or the Board of Directors. All qualified persons, both long time owners and newcomers, are warmly encouraged to consider running for office. Some current Board members may choose not to run. Please contact me at (202)-822-9280 or evanderputten@lauren.org or any other Board member (Dwight Clark-917, Ralph Domenick-1009, Rebecca Kane-506, Joseph Morris-905) for more information or what being a Director involves. While nominations for the Board will be accepted from the floor at the meeting, a printed ballot will be prepared beforehand listing the names of those persons who have indicated their willingness to serve.

If you cannot possibly attend the meeting, please print and fill out this proxy form. The District of Columbia law requires that the proxy form must be witnessed. Please fill out the proxy completely, including all unit numbers, signatures, dates, and addresses for both owner and witness as requested. Return it to the address above or give to another owner who will be at the meeting.
